About the event
The Twin Cities Black Pride Festival, hosted by Minnesota People of Color Pride (MNPOC Pride), is a five-day celebration uplifting LGBTQ+ people of color and our allies across Minnesota and the Upper Midwest.
Taking place August 12–16, 2026, the festival brings together community members, artists, performers, small businesses, nonprofits, and local leaders for a dynamic week of culture, entertainment, health resources, and connection.
Events throughout the week include community gatherings, entertainment showcases, ballroom culture events, wellness activities, and networking opportunities. The festival concludes with our Family Day in the Park at Powderhorn Park, featuring live entertainment, community resource tables, food vendors, merchandise booths, and activities for all ages.
Each year, thousands of attendees participate in MNPOC Pride events, making the festival a powerful opportunity for vendors and organizations to:
