About the event

Minnesota People of Color Pride (MNPOC Pride) is excited to announce our Call for Artists for Twin Cities Black Pride 2026, taking place August 12–16, 2026 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Twin Cities Black Pride is a multi-day celebration that centers and uplifts LGBTQ+ people of color through culture, creativity, community connection, and visibility. Throughout the week, we host a variety of events, including community gatherings, nightlife experiences, ballroom culture, wellness programming, and our outdoor Family Day Festival.

We are seeking talented artists and performers who reflect the energy, creativity, and diversity of our community. Selected artists may be invited to participate in various Black Pride week events such as stage performances, cultural showcases, ballroom or kiki ball categories, spoken word segments, and other creative activations.

We welcome submissions from a wide range of creatives, including:

• Musicians and vocalists

    To help ensure committed participation and reduce no-shows, we are asking for a $5 artist registration fee when submitting an application for Twin Cities Black Pride programming.
